Urgent Prayer Needed

'The question of Israel's upcoming election: Who will lead the country and keep us safe? The Likud under my leadership, which will stand firm against international pressure, or a submissive leftist government headed by Tzipi Livni and Isaac Herzog. ==SHARE=='

The big question of Israel’s upcoming election is: Who will lead the country and keep Israel safe? Will it be the Likud under Netanyahu, which will stand firm against international pressure, or a submissive leftist government headed by Tzipi Livni and Isaac Herzog?

This is my personal plea to all who will join with me to earnestly pray for the Israeli election coming up on March 17th. There has been unsettling prophecy that Netanyahu will lose the election, being defeated by the liberal left candidate, who will be weak on security, sign a “peace treaty” and play along with Obama’s game to allow Iran to continue toward the development of a nuclear weapon.

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that there are “scores of former senior Obama election campaign staffers now in Israel working on the anti-Netanyahu effort.” They are doing their best to defeat him using media, going door to door, talking to people on the streets, etc. etc. All the while Obama says he doesn’t want to acknowledge Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to America because he doesn’t want it to seem as if he is getting involved with Israel’s elections. These are serious times in our nation and in our world. The light has grown very dim in our shining city set on a hill. Our country has not acknowledged the Lord God in our land for many years. Our Judeo-Christian foundations have been purposefully eroded, and along with them, our peace and freedom are threatened.

I feel the heart of God grieved that this land He providentially founded for His Divine purposes has gone so far from Him and the good that He intends for us. Scripture says… “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30 and again… “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9

What Must We Do?

We have to appeal to The One who has the power to help us in our time of need. We find ourselves with no advocate in the highest office in our land at this time. However, we are offered access to the Great Advocate. The price of being represented in this Highest Court is already paid with Precious blood. But, to be eligible for this Divine representation, we must “come clean”, acknowledge the truth of our sin, (simply living our lives apart from Him) and receive this free gift of God. Once we choose to do this of our own free will, then we are not our own. We are bought with a price, and we live accordingly.

Is there any hope?

As we know, prayer can alter events, and defeat the enemy’s plans. We must humble ourselves and pray for God to forgive us and our nation for turning from away from Him, and for allowing the ungodly to rule in our land. Pray for true and lasting repentance to come to our nation. Pray for God’s mercy instead of judgement, and pray for our ally, Israel. I am praying for the winds of change in israel to be reversed and to blow back against Netanyahu’s (Israel’s) enemies.

I pray that the rising political tide would turn and flood the enemies of God and His servants. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Is.54:17

Go Down to The Potter’s House (See Jeremiah 18) and know that when the Lord is speaking to Israel in this passage, you can also add America, or any other nation.

To the shores of Tripoli…to fight the Muslims!

America’s First Foreign War:

Tripoli

From Wikipedia: “The war was fought because U.S. President Thomas Jefferson refused to pay the high tributes demanded by the Barbary states…(the Muslims) and because they were seizing American merchant ships and enslaving the crews for high ransoms. It was the first military conflict authorized by Congress that the United States fought on foreign land and seas.”

Do you know why the United States Department Of The Navy was formed in 1798?

“The continuing demand for tribute ultimately led to the formation of the United States Department of the Navy, founded in 1798 to prevent further attacks upon American shipping and to end the extremely large demands for tribute from the Barbary States.

In March 1785, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman (or Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). When they enquired “concerning the ground of the pretensions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury”, the ambassador replied:

It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise.”

We have been fighting this enemy from the beginning of our nation…and before, but that’s another story.
